I got started with 3D printing in 2017 when I assembled my crappy but beloved Anet A8. Shortly after, I updated it to the AM8 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2263216) and it was a really solid printer for a long time. I upgraded to the X1 Carbon in early 2023 and it's been rock solid. I love the fast print speeds and the support for multiple materials. I've started designing a lot of multi-color models since then.
