I created some Gridfinity inserts for my Wera screwdriver. I could never find anything to fit my needs because my screwdriver have been to long or short. I had too much or not the right handle size.

My goal was to fit as many different screwdriver in one box. That is why i designed them in half grid and the slot for the blade is always 10mm.

I do have 3 handle sizes but Wera produce a couple more. But I think I do have the most common ones.

Just measure the length of your handle to find the right box for your screwdriver.

I created inserts for the standard (green/black) 81mm, 98mm and the 105mm Handle and because of the 10mm slot you fit the VDE (red/yellow) in the same inserts.

I also created a insert for the 900er series (yellow/black) with a 105mm handle and an insert for the 817R.

Because of the different blade lenghts you will get gabs between the inserts. There are spacers to fill the gabs.

Please let me know if you have ideas to improve the inserts.

Created old inserts for the 70mm and 112mm handle. You find them in the STL folder.

Thanks to Oompa Loompa i was able to create a insert for the 70mm and the 112mm handle.

I am about halfway done with printing the holders for my Wera collection and it just looks amazing! Thanks so much for making these and making them available! Do you have any plans for the Wera 932 and/or 826T versions? Those are the only two that I have that I don't have a holder for. I would love to complete the set, but am completely inexperienced in remixing/custom making. I can get the exact dimensions for the 932 if you'd like, but mostly it's the ridiculously long handle of almost 120mm (officially, 117mm according to Wera). For the 826, there is an STL available (https://www.printables.com/model/860265-gridfinity-bin-for-wera-826t-and-wera-816ra/files) for a bin, but your style is so much nicer, as well as being singular rather than a double. If you don't have any plans for them, don't worry! I still greatly appreciate the bins that you've made and will enjoy them for a long time.

There are already inserts for the 932, check out the profile for the 105mm handle with hex. that was the only 932 I do have. Iif you have smaller or bigger ones then I would have to design them. maybe I should create a separate upload for the 932 handle. How wide is the 826 handle? The problem is that 1 grid is 42mm. I can't get them fit if the handle is too wide. Just PM me.

I can't PM you unfortunately, because my account is too new for Makerworld. I need to be at least level 7. The widest part of the 826T is 41.4mm, the overal handle length (not including the bitholder) is 191.2mm. I think the 932a I have (12x200mm) wouldn't fit in a 42mm grid, as the handle is 43mm wide.

Just what I needed! I’ve tried a few models before but they all where to ineffective and wasteful for my liking. This is perfect. Fingers crossed that a version for the larger screwdrivers type is coming in the future. 😊

I found handle models on Grabcad. I made impressions of them. Then test prints, further adjustments. Then more test prints, and so on. It was extremely laborious. You would have to draw a large plate in Fusion 360, create impressions, and then cut the plate into printable parts. I advise against it. This will take forever and consume an exorbitant amount of filament for testing. And since you have no experience with Fusion 360, this will not be easy for you

Yes, I’d also love to do that for my drawers, but I gave up and switched to Gridfinity inserts Instead, I can offer you a tip: Check out toolbedcom It’s not exactly cheap, but you can design your own foam inserts there, and it works quite well

I wish I would have these 2 sizes but I don't. It requiers quiet a few test prints to make these insert. I could order a set on Amazon designe the inserts and send them back :))

I made a stubby version and added it as a remix to the site. Feel free to use / add to your project! I will also be doing a set of custom ones for very large hex drivers (10mm and 13mm) that don't work as is due to the large head size.

Got some Euroboxes (40 x 7,5 x 30 cm) with lids from the hardware store. I added hinges and a locking mechanism to the box and put a (thermal printed) Sticker on the lid listing the contents. I love it!
