Looks like a gradient—but it’s just two colors!I just published a little experiment of mine—an idea for creating gradient effects using only two filament colors. By slicing the model into thin horizontal layers that gradually shift from one color to the other, you can create a smooth transition without needing actual gradient filament. I first tried this with one of my Flexigrid models, and here’s an example applied to a vase.  These are the vase colors I've tried. This one is uses Bambu Lab Translucent PLA Blue and Bambu Lab Translucent PLA Red.This one uses Bambu Lab Translucent PLA blue and Bambu Lab Basic White. This one is (I think) Bambu Lab Basic Purple and Orange. This one is two of the Bambu Lab lighter Translucent PLA colors. The light yellow and light blue. The colors are very light but they also seem to blend together the best. Translucent filaments work best since they let light through, allowing your eyes to naturally blend the colors. Single-Piece Tin Whistle for the H2D Printer
Single-Piece Tin Whistle for the H2D PrinterI’ve optimized my tin whistle model for printing on the Bambu Lab H2D printer. The main benefit is that it now prints as a single piece. Because it’s nearly 300 mm tall, print quality becomes more sensitive as the nozzle reaches the top. If things aren’t dialed in, the print can start to wobble, or the base might lose adhesion. To help avoid issues, I recommend printing it in SILENT mode. It’ll take longer, but the results are worth it. SILENT mode is especially helpful if you’re using Silk PLA, which tends to produce a much smoother finish when printed slowly. The multicolor version in the photos is printed with Bambu Lab Silk+ Silver PLA and Bambu Lab Slate Gray Sparkle PLA on the tips. The Silk+ Silver finish has a sleek, stainless steel look.
