Clapper Case for ESP32 Projects

Description
This is a custom 3D printable enclosure designed for my ESP32-based smart clap switch (“Clapper”) project. The case is designed to house the electronics cleanly while giving the device a finished, consumer-style look similar to the classic clap switches, but modernized for smart home use with Wi-Fi and MQTT support for Home Assistant.
The enclosure is sized to fit the ESP32, INMP441 I2S microphone module, LED indicator, and supporting wiring. It is designed to mount neatly near a wall outlet and allows clear sound access for reliable clap detection while keeping the electronics protected. The case is intended to be assembled after firmware tuning and configuration are complete.
This project was built as a fun DIY smart home experiment to recreate a modern version of a clap-controlled switch using current microcontrollers and sensors. It works best when installed in its final location before tuning sensitivity values, since sound behavior changes significantly based on distance and room acoustics.
Important note: This enclosure is designed for closed assembly and does not include an external programming access port, so make sure your firmware, Wi-Fi credentials, and MQTT settings are finalized before sealing the case.
This is a hobby / maker project enclosure and is not intended for mains voltage integration inside the housing.
