Description

I created a frame for my X1C screen.

The fact that it could be moved displeased me. It is now fixed.

It is intentionally shorter on the upper part to allow my riser to pass over. The model was made by attaching a 3M double-sided tape to the designated part for this purpose. If the model requires modifications, please let me know.

I am not a professional, and I am making this piece for pleasure.

Three versions are available:

  1. Simple without any writing
  2. A model with a hollow space, potentially for storing tools
  3. A model with the "bambulab" inscription extruded by 0.01 mm

Plate 1: Bambulab inscription

Plate 2: classic

Plate 3: with tool holder

Note: The flow rate must be calibrated without fail.

/!\ Matte PLA is not the best option. /!\

Thank you for downloading my model.

Nice print with PLA-CF. The angle of the screen it off on mine for some reason. screen doesn’t sit flush and it’s as far up as it can go. Double sticky tape holds it on great.

I printed the version without any branding, but I have the same problem. I printed it facing down, so I'm sure the front face is flat. I think the problem is relate with some angle inside the frame. even if I push and apply a bit of force it won't get correctly in place

Printed the version with the toolholder in PLA. A little bit hard to insert, but fits snuggly.

This was a sturdy piece and looks great. for me, it was extremely difficult to install and remove. The fit on the screen was tight. I had to cut my screen out of it with heavy cutters. This may have been due to my inexperience. Author was responsive with troubleshooting.

try pla-cf dry otherwise upscale the model by a few small percentage. not much. then come back to me to tell me more 😉 and change your rating. thought dehydrated the filament.

Nice work, thank you for the time you spent on this. I ended up flipping screen side face down and adding some color to that surface. turned out great!

Well done, If you print in the right position you have perfect smooth surface and it fits good (double side Scotch needed)

Would this work printed in TPU? I like the idea of a little more shock absorption with a more flexible material. I am a novice, so I have no idea if this is as simple as changing the filament type or if other modifications would have to be made.
