Description

V2 UPDATE HERE:

https://makerworld.com/en/models/157242#profileId-172507

Splitter, designed for the AMS Lite of the A1 mini and the A1. With this design you will be able to print from the outer filament without disconnecting anything.

With this design, you don't add weight to the printer's head, avoiding problems

The original design is for 1/8 thread

Some people have asked what to buy. I am attaching an address as an example:

PC4-M10 macho

https://www.amazon.es/UniTak3D-Neumático-Acoplador-Compatible-impresoras/dp/B08QMGHNLT/ref=sr_1_5?__mk_es_ES=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&crid=3MF9F8M8DUO59&keywords=Creality+Conector+PC4-M10&qid=1705944374&sprefix=creality+conector+pc4-m10%2Caps%2C158&sr=8-5

NEW: You can download it for metric thread 10. Thank Marcus T, you for your idea and your help to carry it out and be able to use this type of thread with metric. https://makerworld.com/en/u/1120084680

A video of how to install it.

NOTE: To remove the bracket, use a thin allen key from the other end and press.

IT CAN BE DONE FASTER, BUT IT DOESN'T COME OUT CORRECTLY AND YOU CAN CLAM THE FILAMENT. I RECOMMEND USING THE PARAMETERS OF THE ORIGINAL 0.12 DESIGN

Master acevalsl , This is a very useful tool. Could you please design another one to be compatible with the AMS Lite Top Mount for A1 since I am already using it?

The hole is very small, and if you put it at the top, the tube will be bent. I think the best thing would be in the place where you are going to use this Splitter not to use that guidance system. You can cut only that side and continue to have it on the other. Send me if you want the guide model you're using and I'll modify it for you

I didn't notice that the thread is 1/8 inch rather than in metric, printed twice with PETG and PLA. I thought it was a material problem. ._. Is there any chance to release a metric version since you don't allow a remix?

Yes, tell me what thread you want me to put on and I'll modify it by putting a second version. Open, if you want to chat privately and when I have it I'll send it to you for test it

I've used cReality fittings, that's why I put that measure. I don't have metrics but if you try them we'll put it

Printed just as described. I decided to snap off the extension because I thought it would brake off. On the out feed side internally I observed an indentation to seat the PTFE tube, and wondered if it could be done on the opposite (in feed) side but not too deep to block the side spool feed inlet.

Printed good. Waiting for the couplers.

Interesting, but in what situation would it be better to avoid the AMS lite ?

If you want to print from a dryer, directly, for whatever reason?

This is on my to-do list now because have been back and forth from TPU and PLA all week on prints.

For me it doesn't really work, but this can also be due to the 2.6kg roll of filament I was trying to use (too much friction)

Use version two, which has an input with Teflon tube for friction. https://makerworld.com/en/models/157242#profileId-172507

Felt apart during print. Used another design instead.

Where did he separate from? You're the first one that happens. Send me a photo of what happened to you to solve it if you want.
