As requested - slightly smaller to allow single plate prints and an integrated nut version.

I needed to measure several heads and found these from Uncle Jesse.

 

While functional, his were extremely fragile thanks to thin walls around the text and not so stable on the hinge. Fine for once off but a pain when they break mid-measure with three heads left still in the queue. Plus curves that don't tangent into each other and low poly STLs … shudder

With these shortcomings noted and no other models available that fixed them to my satisfaction I decided to take inspiration and make new ones that addressed these shortcomings.

 

The basic design is all Uncle Jesse, but I thickened them up substantially and shallow etched the text instead of punching right through.

The hinge nut and bolt are 100% all my original work.  Designed for easy gripping and use, they allow the user to lock the calipers in place pretty solidly. I used dans98 FDM threads for ease of printing, predictable clearances and excellent strength (https://github.com/dans98/Fusion-360-FDM-threads).

 

In theory they could be printed in any material, indeed all of my prototyping has been done in white silk PLA because that's what I have lots spare of. However if you don't want them melting in the car, PETG might be more suitable for more durable prints.
