Description

A1/MINI Series Deflector MSPS

You won’t find it dead on the ground near the printer !

This deflector is designed to:

  • Redirect debris from the wiper into a bucket or container of your choice.
  • Soon to help collect debris and keep your work area clean with its convenient poop basket.
  • Reinforce the original wiper design for improved stability and functionality.
  • Feature a modern hex-pattern design with a Bambu logo for added style.
  • Allow customization of certain elements with color for a personalized touch, as shown in the "Make It Your Own" image.

Poop Basket Update
A basket will soon (No time frame) be available that clips onto the existing deflector. It offers ample capacity for those heavier loads, is rattle-free, and smooth as can be—no sticking in the poop basket.

Installation Instructions

  • Move the toolhead away from the wiper to create workspace.
  • Slide the print bed forward and raise the Z-axis for Allen key clearance.
  • Remove the bottom bolt and the front bolt on the gantry.
  • Pull the wiper toward the back of the machine and remove the cap.
  • Insert the MSPS into the gantry, pushing it until fully seated.
  • Loosely reinstall the front bolt to hold it in place.
  • Push the wiper into the deflector until completely seated.
  • Install the remaining bolt and tighten both bolts, ensuring proper alignment.

Your upgraded setup is now ready to go—enjoy the added functionality and sleek look!

Bed Adhesion Issue:It didn't stay on its plate properly. This is the only problem I've had but luckily I got some advice on how to fix this

Well if you wash your bed with the stuff in the back the chance to have bed adhesion is more than with dish soap and rinced properly, as with spray thing chance there some remaining of wtv in the bed! Is the 3 stars your choice or Makerworld doesn’t let you rate higher since you cancelled the print? Thanks!

Makerworld does not allow reviews above 3 stars.I would be happy to receive advice. Which would be better, all-purpose cleaner or dishwashing detergent and of course rinsing afterwards?

I was finding it convenient at beginning to just spray and wipe, I don’t know if this is what you are doing.. sure that your stuff rinced might be similar to dish soap. Removing residual deposit that could impact adhesion would help. If you look online some pray by Dawn dishsoap, I use dawn just because.. but a standard dish soap brushed with a brush that doesn’t have grease residue from dish cleaning to scrub, then rinced (100% required) especially hot plate will dry up the stuff before being wiped! And I use general microfiber cloth, a clean paper tower will do it but as long it doesn’t leave small piece behind haha. Always feel free to reach out to me about my design, I generally respond pretty quickly except between may to September it vary 😂

Slightly tight to insert, I had to smooth it, otherwise it's fine

I printed the A1 Mini poop chute via SD card, so unfortunately I cannot directly rate the file The print in PETG white and black went smoothly – only the white could have been a bit more vibrant for my taste Assembly was easy, only inserting the Purge Wiper was a bit tricky, as it sits slightly crooked (could be due to material warping – it was my first print 😅) Overall, everything fits and works great I particularly like the screw fastening, which makes the whole thing nice and stable I'm giving 4 stars for the file and 5 stars for the print Great job – I really like your designs and optimizations for the A1 Mini! 👍🏻 My first boost goes to you

Yes, maybe the bed wasn’t cleaned recently(Dishsoap + Water without any glue), or the ambient temperature was a bit too cold, causing the print to warp. I understand how it works when printing with SD or LAN only — I don’t have access to ratings either because of that. As for the color, I printed a black-and-white version with better contrast. Sometimes it depends on the filament’s opacity — if light passes through more easily when the print isn’t too thick, you can tell which one blocks more light. That difference can create a better visual effect. Thank you for taking the time to review and boost!

Human error led to a broken x axis arm bracket for the tool head. You’re design was the only one that I found to resolve the issue. Well done. Amazing universal design. Thank you for sharing! What is this part named? and where’s the replacement files? lol

I designed this deflector to reinforce the original purge wiper, it is cheap on Bambu lab if you want to replace your! (https://ca.store.bambulab.com/products/purge-wiper-a1-series) I’m happy to see that my design helped you to get back on track quickly. Thank you for boosting this thing! ✌️
