Description

Enhance your Milwaukee Packout system with this innovative M18 battery holder, designed for effortless installation and removal without the need for additional hardware.

I have a similar design  that fits a bit more securely: Dovetail  M18  Battery Holder

Features:

  • Packout Compatible: Seamlessly integrates with your Milwaukee Packout boxes, providing secure storage for your M18 batteries.
  • Two-Piece Design: Prints in two parts that easily assemble, ensuring a strong and reliable hold.
  • Toolless Installation: Press the locking tab into the slot on the body. It should snap firmly into place.
  • Reversible Mounting: Allows batteries to be inserted from either direction, offering flexibility to suit your workflow.

Printing Recommendations:

  • Material: For optimal results, print using PETG or Nylon.

Really well designed! love how when the battery is locked on it can’t come off very clever. Also extremely handy that the battery can be attached in both directions. Printed perfectly. Thank you for this file, will be very handy to keep a spare battery on my Packout Vacuum!

They are spit in the 3MF file, if you download the step you will need to split it to obects.

I'm still new to printing. How do I split it into two objects? I have luban and orca. Or can I just use 3mf and print it in petg straight away?

What I do is instead of downloading the 3mf, I select open with bambu studio. Once there it shows both pieces then I can either slice there for my Elegoo Carbon or I can select File export as STLs so that I can slice with my slicer of choice. I am sure their is an easier way but this takes me less than a minute to complete.

no prob the only problem is its hard to unclick battery on the back so you should make a reversed one for the back. or take two and put them back to back pointing up i would those the best.

Great part but had problems with it fitting on my pack out wall plates as this slot dimension are a little bit different than the regular packout cases. Did a little bit of shaving on the slots for it to fit and it’s perfect now! Wish you made the same part with a little bit different dimensions on the slot for the wall packout. Thank you for the design.
