AMS Lite Veritcal Top Mount Alternative v3

V3A (.3mf file) provides an even higher middle section (30mm higher).

V3 mounts AMS Lite higher so nozzle is more easily cleared than V2.

Updated Wording:

Need to mount my AMS Lite above but noticed that accessing the rear is very difficult using AMS Lite Top Mount for A1 and I want to incorporate the ULTIMATE Filament Spool Enclosure which would make using the rear mounts impossible where I have my A1 set up.

Rotating the mount 90° would make it easier to access from both sides and vertical mounting would not work with the Enclosure so looked for a bracket that I could hold onto the side of the AMS rather than the side and then angled it so it would fit the A1 print bed.

Using 3D Builder:

1. Sliced the Lower Half of AMT Top Mount to just collect the lower interface section
2. Rotated so the upper section was on the build plate and then lifted it until there was enough clearance and extruded down
3. Re-rotated the piece back to original orientation
4. Slided both sides of the AMS Lite Stand - FootMod
5. Aligned the pieces such that the Stand was above the Lower Half of the AMT Top Mount and interfacing the extruded extension
6. Used various blocks to delete excess areas
7. merged remaining items together to get shape being used
8. Sliced model into 2 halves - upper and lower
9. added block to bottom of upper and used block to cut hollow area into lower
10. created locking pin and used that to cut through both piece when aligned

• There are 3 parts to print - the upper (AMS Holder), the lower (Base), and the locking pin
• Will need to get extension AMS Lite Cable (~450mm or 18" long) - I got mine off ETSY.

Note - this print used lots of support material but it worked.
