Summary
Cable trays in different sizes to hide and route your cabling.
- Different sizes are added. All with a length of 100mm. If you want another length, simply scale them in your slicer over the Y-axis. In the filenames W stands for Width, H for height (sorry being obvious). The given height is included the lid.
- The higher the tray the looser the lid fits. So if you really need the space of a high one and the lid must be real tight, you probably better use two lower models.
- if you need longer ones then your printer can handle. first try to rotate the tray and lid with 45 degrees. If that doesn't help, print it in uneven parts and change the lids and trays to avoid getting the separation in the same place.
- The flat and wide ones are ideal to protect your flatcables
- The dwg/dxf of the cross-section of the base model (10x10) is added
- Also a stp-file is added if you need a specific size. Remember the higher the looser the lid. Make the straight vertical walls of the tray thicker to prevent this.
Happy cable-managing :)
Extra: I needed a long one and since my "big" printer has a 0.6 nozzle i adjusted the one i needed for that. It is added as Xtra_cabletray_W15xH10xL100_extrastrong (W and H not exact due to adjustments). As the name says, it is strong and probably stronger then needed.
PS. Found, after i designed this, an almost identical but customizable one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3132978. Maybe more convenient for you.
