Can we please get an all in one version that is boltless/metal free like this? I wasn't sure how to remove the holes so that it would all fit together and printed all in one piece using supports for the overhangs or if instead of bolts it could slide together like a mortise and tenon or dovetail -- I extended the feet for the rigidity and split off the overhangs so that it could fit on the X1C plate. Using PLA Tough with no need for screws, In this current all in one print it looks like it'd take just about 16 hours with supports.

I didn't finish putting it together I just took the files the OP had posted and put them together the best I could line up the holes.

Fully assembled, with a splash of colour. Looks very sharp, but I think it's more of a side grade then an upgrade. It's very sturdy, but the v1.0 version was totally fine. This takes up a lot of length, enough I had to move things around to make it fit. I can't see the v1.0 ever breaking, and this doesn't save nearly as much space. Great option, but people were just paranoid about the height of the first design without any actual validity.

Both are totally fantastic. Whatever one someone picks, it's a significant improvement over the stock configuration. I've got both printed up now so I can mull over whichever one I prefer!

first failure. used the 3mf directly from the app. trying again with no changes looks like it'll fail same way.

seems like your first layer doesn't stick well, clean your bed with IPA?

Thanks for the design. Is this hole under the leg (part 3) used to attach to another part?

In general, the profile works well. I found some wobbling between the holder part and the adapter. I solved with a scraper 😉, now rock solid. Thanks for the space save.

print just one layer sheet, fold it into two or three, put it in between, works like a charm, use the scraper for something else :)

How do you tighten down the bolts? There are no threads on your pieces so they just spin and the thing is so wobbly.

nothing special, just tighten them without overtightening

if the hole are too big... then you must be NOT using M5 bolts

Hi, version 1.2 is also very interesting, can you give us the dimensions of the entire structure including the printer? so I can understand if it fits me? Thank you

from the back of the printer to the back of the feet is 22 cm, from the back of the printer to the furtherest point of the ams system (filament spool) is 30 cm.

I love this version! Is there any way to further shorten the front-to-back distance?

Replying to @bruce23301 :
hi there, glad you like it, although the front to back is made that distance with keeping the size of an average filament spool thickness, so making the distance shorter wouldn't be compatible with 'thicker' filament spools
