Printed this, but the size is small. It passes through the center of the spool, and does not capture in the center as I though it would, For storage in the ziplock bag with the spool, it will work fine. To keep it in the spool when it is in the AMS, will not work as needed,
I've got one in each of my spools in the AMS at all times, they work fine. Yes, they will pass through the spool (from either side by design) so that you can place the canister in the spool from either side. There is enough of a lip on each end so that they will stay in the spool and not ride out. Try it at least once before you give up on it, you'll see that they work just fine. Thanks for letting me know.
they are too fragile. even when printed with Asa or abs.
if you are absent minded pulling the spools out of the ams. these containers will slip out and shatter. spilling dessicant everywhere.
be very careful when using these with bambu ams. end cap detents not very secure, had one open up on me when changing filament, 2 hours later I learned how to completely disassemble and clean my ams
Maybe there was a problem with the older ABS used, despite being dried at 80 degC over night, but the bottom came away from the main body of the main container when removing it from the bed, then the top of the lid came away from its plastic ring that holds the top in the main body when removing the top. The actual print looked almost perfect. I think it would help to avoid this problem if there was a substantial fillet at the main body and lid joins, both inside and outside. In any case couldn't do any harm.
