Description

This remix trims about 7mm off of the sides to allow fitment with the taller desiccant boxes. My boxes are a little taller than the original model was designed for so remixing it used less time and material then reprinting the shorter boxes. Figured i'd post it up for anyone who has printed the same version and runs in to this issue. I also bored out the bottom of the hole a bit so the PTFE tube could be press all the way through to the funnel if you wanted to.

Ah! Here is another freeloader who never did anything good, trying to pretend to improve my stuff but just making it worse and worse. Your print looks like crap. I understand you are trying to have something popular, and stealing is the only way you can find... You should use my model, with my profile you can't mess it up. d.putin is just a loser, what does that make you?

Except your model didn't work for me, doesn't fit with the silica bead holders I have in my AMS. They come up higher than whatever ones you used so I HAD to edited it and cut off the tips of the "legs" so it didnt fight the tops of the holders for the limited space beside it and I just used d.fortin's remix with the added neck. I literally did nothing but cut it cuz it was less material than reprinting all the silica holders and put it up so someone else in the same situation didn't have to do it themselves. I couldn't care less about 'being popular' dude, that's just silly. Certainly if that was the case I would remix something with more than 6-700 downloads lol, relax. If you're looking for suggestions, cut off about 7mm of the 'legs' and throw it up so it works for people like me with the taller holders

OK, OK, It's Monday, how can I relax?... I understand it's an issue with the sizeable desiccant box. I did have to decide between cutting the side or printing some new box. I cut part of my prototype's side to accommodate the box in between. It did compromise the stability of the assembly. I did try cutting just half of the side wall, but the box still didn't fit. I can't find the exact one I use, but it's very similar. https://makerworld.com/en/models/43980#profileId-57849

The comment l1v1up made on your original model seems to work and uses the similar boxes i used. Looks like he just trimmed a groove out of the sides so the boxes cleared. Why not go that route. Honestly trimming the 7mm off the ends of the legs works perfectly fine. There still seems to be plenty of material to slide it on and its still nice and tight without having to worry about them running in to the boxes. If you wanted a more custom fit, the outer side of the end ones dont need trimmed (inner side still does obviously), but then you'd have to print 3 (left end, right end, middles) models instead of just using the same one across all 4 spots. These boxes being a little taller allow for holding more desiccant so I'd prefer to stick with them, plus its less time and material to reprint these fittings than new boxes

these fit great, but trying to get the BBL ptfe tube to pass through was an absolute nightmare. I just left it poking out the top. the hole is like .1mm too tight

Hey, thanks for downloading. Although the intension was to be tight (to give the option to keep it part way down or push it the whole way through without it being able to move) I didn't have too much trouble however, I put up a second profile anyway with the tunnel opened up slightly which shouldn't give any problem to push tubing through.

I'll give it a go and get back to you, thank you 😊

The new set is amazing 👏 The ptfe tube is now *just* tight enough not to move by itself. Thank you for the updated version 😊

Perfect Print. I did have to drill out the hole a bit for my pTFE tube, but there’s some variance in the tubes, so that’s expected.

Thanks! Yeah not all PTFE are created equal and I wanted to make sure it was more tight than loose.
