About

This is a set of source design files of the spool holder and threaded rod in step format for customizing the Python AMS spool holders in case you use a spool with an inner diameter larger than around 72 mm or if you want to do some other customization to the spool holder. You can open the step files in your favourite design software for easy editing.

The main Python AMS step files are not available publicly, please don't ask.

Will anyone be making spool holders for Hatchbox filament? I use a lot of their filament, but I haven't been able to find anything that will work for them. They have a larger inner diameter and won't work with the original holders. I found the STEP files, and I will play with them, but I'm not very good at modifying files. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Is there any chance that you can include the gear too ? I know that your are developing a ''large python'' but I would like to try to fit a 3kg roll with your existing python. Thank you. Btw, great job on your design, very well done

Sorry I missed this reply. Mega Python for 3 Kg spools uses the same double helical spool gear as normal Python but with additional gears for delivery.
