Description

The Desktop USB CNC is a fun flash drive holder modeled after my personal CNC Router. It has a movable X, Y, and Z axis to keep your design files entertained while they're not in use.

No glue is required since the pieces use a snap fit, but please double check part placement before assembly since they do not easily come back off.

Recommended assembly order:

  1. Slide Z axis assembly over the upper rail - one side has slightly more play than the other. If the carriage does not move freely flip the rail 180°.
  2. Carefully snap both guide brackets into the upper rail. Double check they are both facing forward prior to assembly.
  3. Snap only the back brackets into the CNC bed.
  4. Slide the upper rail assembly onto the base.
  5. Finish assembly by snapping front brackets into place.

I have also attached versions of the z axis with slightly wider openings for the usb in case the default opening is too tight with your material or another printer, however I have successfully printed this model several times in Bambu and Overture PLA.
