Your support is my greatest motivation to keep creating. If you enjoy my work, please show your support. If you have any suggestions for the models, please leave a comment. I will incorporate everyone's feedback to improve the next version of the models.

Special Note:

1.If the adhesion between the bed and the bottom of the latch is insufficient during printing, it may detach during the process. Although I have printed it successfully many times myself, I have received some feedback about failures. To improve the success rate of printing, I suggest cleaning the bed before printing and applying glue stick to the bed surface.

2.If you find the latches too tight, you can use a file to slightly sand down the latch area for a better fit.

One if the latches was a mess and the box on the same side looks liked it melted. I have no idea what went wrong, but I know it was not a design issue. A1 with Overture space grey PLA and Sunlu fluorescent green PLA. *Would using the hardened steel nozzle matter? I wouldn’t think so but I am a newbie and want to figure out where I went wrong.

I have rechecked the model and reviewed the slicing process, and it appears to be fine. I suggest reprinting it, paying attention this time to the first few layers that adhere to the bed. From your pictures, it seems that the bottom layers beneath the latches may not have been fully printed. While I am confident in the accuracy of my model design, I lack expertise in diagnosing printing issues. I'm unsure why your print failed. One possible reason could be insufficient adhesion between the bed and the bottom layers of the latch area, causing detachment during printing. If this is the case, I recommend applying glue stick to the bed before starting the print.

l will try that.

you should really clean your print bed with some pure alcohol and try a glue stick/spray if that does not help. Your corners are lifting up like you are using some really bad ABS... The bottom of your print should be flat and since the crazy lifting is close the failed hinge, it seems like that´s the problem. Lowering the print speed or increase the cooling fan speed could also help a bit with lifting at chamfers.

it looks like it needed supports in the buckles so that part failed and I’ll try to reprint it but besides that the measurements are perfect

This model doesn't need supports. After reviewing the photos you sent, I'm unsure of the reason for the failure, but it shouldn't be related to needing supports. I've printed it many times without using supports

Rather than reprinting it, see if you can incorporate some tiny magnets in the edge of the case somehow! 😉

Beautiful design! Regrettably, it cannot be printed on the A1 mini.

thanks for providing this downscaled for printing on the A1 Mini! Only problems were the adhesion in the 4 corners and the lock wasn't perfect and I had to create additional mouse ear brims with orcaslicer.

Printed out amazing for me! A1 on default settings. Came out perfect first try. I used smooth hotplate set at 70c and dimafix. Took about 5 hrs. Holds everything in the base A1 kit and then some. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this! I didn't have an AMS so I added a pause in at layer 50. I guessed that's about where you were putting in the filament change. You may want to add that to the description on what layer you changed at for those that don't have an AMS. Thanks again!
