The lid fits into the base very tightly, remove the protrusions after printing.
Maybe the first layer of printing will be loose at the overhang, remove this layer, it does not affect the strength.

I printed without supports. I tried both PLA and PETG and both results were very good.

The lid has a stop to prevent accidental removal.

As you slide the lid off, lift the edge slightly with your fingernail and slide it to the side.
