Spring-loaded MP5 rifle with magazine and accessories, this is a replica of the famous MP5 rifle. This is a work in progress the spring may be hard or the trigger system may not work very well, I am working on it. Below you can see the assembly guide.

Solve trigger don't hold spring but reduce the power of shoot. In the next day I'll try to make new balance between trigger and sprint to improve it. You can find new spring in print profile kit or in stl section. 😁✌️

PLEASE READ BEFORE WASTING TIME & FILAMENT The Idea is cool, and the model looks awesome, but the firing mechanism doesn't work at all. The trigger can't latch on to the spring, sure you can hold it up manually, but whats the point of that? Also the safety mechanism does nothing. I downloaded the "Updated models" that should have this issue fixed, but the issue persists. It's just disappointing that this model is presented as functional.

My V1.0 model fires just fine. printed in PETG with minimal sanding. Mostly inside of the barrel, which I expected. Maybe check your settings against other print profiles?

READ BEFORE PRINT!!! Do not print this spring loaded gun. please believe me the dude A little above me is right. The spring mechanism does not work at all.

Hi, love your model, for the issue surrounding the spring and the trigger mechanism, I developed a very easy fix (see image below). Just tie a semi thick rubber band around the spring and the trigger. This could also be an inspiration for future iterations as I realised that by making the spring closer to the trigger solves the issue.

In case anyone needs to know how to remove the supports that are inside the parts ie: in the barrel, I use a desoldering probe which can be purchased on Amazon. I used the one that has a small hook on one end and an angular probe on the other. It's kind of like a dental probe, but is much more sturdy. They are used in the electronics field a lot. If you go on Amazon and use the keywords, "desoldering tool kit", you'll eventually come across something that resembles what I mentioned above. In the photo, I've highlighted the tool I use. It might seem a pain to have those supports inside the part, but they are needed to ensure the part prints in all the correct dimensions.

I can just make a print profile with easier thinner tree support connectio s that have slightly more xy and top bottom distances then , withiut sacrificing any significant amount of support strength, we can snap them off easier if you wanted. there's probably plenty of literal wiggle room to work with

this model simply does not work and I am sorry to say it. the magazine interferes with the shooting spring. the trigger can't hold the force of the spring without the aid of your finger and I did not manage to get a bullet to even make it out the barrel. for looks I give it 5 stars but the mechanics need improving.
