Description

3D printable enclosure for the Adafruit Macropad PCB, inspired by the Nuphy Halo 96 keyboard.

Needed:

  • 4x M3x8 screws
  • Adafruit Macropad

Print: Print all 3 parts facing down (as shown on pic), only the PCB bracket need support

Assembly:

  1. Mount the PCB to the bracket with the 4 screws, taller part facing the taller part of the main body
  2. Align the bracket arms with the slot in the main body, if it doesnt fit, you but the bracket in the wrong direction
  3. Hold the bracket from behind and start clipping the keyboard switches, now the PCB should hold on its own
  4. If everything is mounted correctly, remove the bracket by removing the screws
  5. Now we want to make it sturdy, so we are going to glue the bracket to its groove/slot and then screw it back in in the PCB (Can be optional since the PCB is now held by the switches)
  6. Put the ring on top (aligned withs pins) and make sur the sides are skewed to the right side), then glue it in (Optional)
  7. Put the knob at the end, since its pushes on the PCB, you can glue it if you want
