Description

This is a modified version of my Belt Holster. I kept finding myself fishing with a swimsuit recently and without a belt and unable to utilize my holster so I wanted one with a waistband clip. This also works well if you're wearing a belt sliding it up underneath the belt and then down to waistband to give it extra support. Also its ribbed on the inside… for your pleasure… ;)

I added a support enforcer to stablize the support to the side of the holster right before it starts to print the back side of the waist clip. I had multiple fails when printing this if the support is not reinforced to the piece before attempting to print the back side so do not remove the enforcer.

Hi do you know how the support failed? I have Strong Tree set on here and have printed close to 15 of these with this support configuration without issues so far. Would be good to know fail symptoms(IE: if the support fell over or didn't provide enough building platform, etc) so I know how to address the print profile for better prints. thanks!

The support didn't fall over it looked like it just snapped off close to the top. I probably should have taken a photo of the whole thing. before removing it off the build plate. I think maybe it is because I am printing it off the A1? I printed the belt clip V1 after and it worked perfectly fine.

I uploaded a new print profile and ran it through my A1 this time just to check. Provides several more contact points on both side of the clip part so hopefully that resolves potential fails.
