Description
Hello, I have modeled a universal adapter for filament spools that do not fit into the AMS due to a too large inner diameter of the spool. The system is self-locking with a nut, which really ensures there is no play when the AMS rewinds, etc
Work perfectly with brand spool (Sunlu,Geetech,Giantarms,Forshape,Tecbears etc…)
The system took around 50g of PLA

hmm cool but i wonder if this other type uses less filament . maybe I can make that hex nut thinner

This spool adapter took around 76 gr my spool adapter tooking 20 gr less.

Threads easily on the first try and worked for the off brand PLA that I ordered from Amazon! Printed on a A1 with Overture translucent PLA.
