Description

How much filament remains on your spool ? 200 or 400 g ?

Simply use this perfectly calibrated meter to know the exact number of remaining filament. Optimized for Bambu Lab spools, with two different scales (one on each side, approximately 12.5 % difference) :

Standard (PLA/PETG/PC/TPU)
ABS / ASA

Available print profiles have been optimized for AMS or Single Color with the following content :

Bottom and top : 0.08 mm layers, slow speed
In between : 0.28 mm layers, normal speed
Filling 5% Gyroid

(*) There is also a Spool Meter Version 1.0 with single scale optimized for PLA

Printed well. It had a problem with the 23rd layer, but I think it's a combination of printing on "Sport" and a filament I have had issues with before, so no fault of the creators.

Thank you for sharing the picture and feedback - I have never used my X1C on Sport speed and always use Bambu Lab filament, but let me know if you would like a model with thicker center (therefore a lesser slope) and I will do it with pleasure ! (you can PM me)

Yeah, it was bambu PLA basic silver. I have had lots of issues with it. I actually quite like the slope, saves filament and provides a nice grip!

I took opportunity of Bambu Lab Anniversary sale and ordered a bunch, including Silver and Gold but have not used it yet ... I saw a few pictures where Silver did not look very smooth, but did not think it was a generalized problem. Again, thank you for the feedback and let me know if I can do anything - your thicker center Spool Meter is almost ready if you want it ; )

Printed well using 2 colors from P1S with AMS. It is probably my lack of knowledge, but I couldn't find a quick way to select the numbers and lines at once to change the color (filament). I chose the color I wanted and then selected each line, number, and letter individually with the color painting tool within Bambu Studio. If anyone could let me know a quicker way that would be great. (like choose the text layer and select the color) Great job and thank you!

Thank you for the feedback - you don't need to repaint it. When clicking "Print Plate" (top right corner), there will be a panel allowing you to choose the colors (from your AMS) a) Change RED for the MAIN color you want b) Change WHITE for the STANDARD color you want (all filaments but ABS/ASA) c) Change BLACK for the ABS/ASA color you want Hope that helps !

Great design, thank you. Recommended for Bambulab spools. However would love to see a slimmer version for Spools like Sunlu :)

Absolutely ! I only use Bambu Lab filaments, but if you want to give me the measurements, I will do it. What I need is : on a full spool, the exact distance from filament to the outer edge, preferably in mm (but I can convert). Just give me the PLA measurements, I will work the variants.
