The Design
You probably can find holders for a vast number of items that you bring to the beach such as drinks, phones etc.. Each adds to the stuff that you have to carry to the pont that you may need a beach buggy to carry everything. My objective with this design is quite simple. To have a holder that can hold everything yet folds into a very compact size that can fit in a beach bag.
Beach Tray
Beach tray is about the size of a book yet offers the following features:
- Drink holder
- Phone holder (will fit all phones even the Iphone Max)
- Sunscreen holder
- Valuable holder (a closed compartment for watches, money, keys and jewelry)
- Airpod holder
- Two trays for food, glasses and drinks
- Book holder (these are removeable and inserted on the two sides where the drinks are)
- Convenient carry handle
- It folds into the size of a book 16.5 cm x 16.5 cm x 7.5 cm (6.5 inch x 6.5 inch x 3 inch)
- It stands about 8 inches high which is a great height for a beach chair
Assembly
It is easy to assemble and an assembly gif is provided.
A few points:
- Long and short pegs are provided. The long pegs are for the side where the latch is on. Do not insert the long pegs all the way as they need to stand pround a little for the latch to catch
- The trays and lid are print in place and press fit. It is best to go easy at first.
IMPORTANT: Use the latches and leg locks to secure Beach Tray in the open position (see photo).

Printing profiles are provided for the A1 mini, P1 and X1.
Painted printing profiles are also provided.
My designs
I enjoy creating 3d models that others can use and appreciate. It is a very fun pastime. I find it very rewarding to see my models downloaded and printed. I put lots of thought, time and effort to create each model print out multiple iterations to make sure it works just right.
