Description

This is my own version of a Deej Case.

I wanted a case with the option to swap out the icons for each slider without having to reprint the full case.

I included a .scad file to create your own version with any kind of 256px x 256px SVG!

Keep in mind that you can't use the customizer from Makerworld since OpenSCAD can only work with SVGs that are saved locally on your computer.

In the .scad file you can also create versions that can be printed without an AMS.

The main case has a little pocket for the icon plate.

In the print profile I included all the printed parts you need and everything should be orientated correctly.

The main case doesn't have supports for the potentiometer parts because bridging it works fine, but you can add some if you want.

I did print the top plate upside down to make use of the plate effect but the rounded corners make the part easily warp. If your top plate is warped it won't fit that well.

The potentiometers should be press fit but I still bend the little pins to hold it in place.

The top plate is glued on.

The knobs fit very tight, if you have trouble to put them on scaling them up by 1-2% should help.

Another information for the .scad file:

You need to export it as a 3MF file. When loading the file into Bambu Studio you will get this message:

Make sure to click “Yes”! If you click “No” the icons will be dropped onto the build plate instead of keeping their z height.

Love the effort put into this case! The ability to swap the icons for each slider is definitely a clever redesign of the Deej case. Thanks for sharing it with the community!
