My entry into filament clip hall of fame. The design process was fairly simple, the ones I've been using were great but they didn't work too well on the odd non-bambu spool. As I mainly use off brand respooled filament, the main problem I face is quick identification of material, I have a full cupboard of asst colours and materials and they sometimes get a lttle mixed up. Now labelling is an option but I'm lazy and haven't made it that far, so naturally I added the material type to the filament clip. These Clips are small and simple to print, are robust and give that satisfying click when located.
*Now with bonus “box” profile for storage of your assortment of clips. Handy sized to fit a small handful, print a batch of clips so you'll never be short the next time you're unloading a spool.
I covered the basics, PLA/PETG/ABS/ASA/TPU/PLACF/PETGCF. I tested these in PETG, ABS, and ASA, I defaulted to PETG for most of them as I find its the most forgiving in flex. PLA is fine too but be careful if you run these in the toaster oven ;)
