Description

This is a modification that allows you to use a upgraded fan inside of the Bambulab p1/x1, The honeybadger 5015 fan, without a lot of effort, just splice, solder and heatshrink as follows,

Original Wiring Function Fabreeko wiring

White PWM signal to the fan Blue

Light Grey RPM signal from the fan White

Dark Grey +24v Red

Black GND Black

Good model/print. Have yet to get the heat resistant fan as the designer suggests.

This looks great! its not the heat resistant fan that its for, but rather a fan that moves 3x the amount of air and higher rpm.

Better air flow is a BIG plus no matter how you look at it. From the fan's website ("This 5015-blower fan has a durable fan motor and can take a beating on your printer with its Class A insulation rated up to 95C its sure to survive an enclosed environment.") I took it as two positives: air flow & temp. It's great that people are designing good tweaks to further improve the Bambu Lab printers. Thanx

Yeah, no problem, I only broke 2 fans in the process of getting this right, and also scaring the sht out of my self with a 450w psu

You need to use the one that came with the printer, splice it and solder the cables together.
