Description

This washing machine container has a base of 100x100mm when printed at 100%. You may want to size up a little bit to hold a full bag of laundry pods, depending on how many pods you buy.

I made this with really strong hinges and that is why the main body prints in two pieces.  The box snap lid stays closed very well.  The hinges still worked fine for me at 60% size but they are definitely thin and probably will not be very durable.

The top and bottom pieces connect with two screws.  You could technically just glue the top and bottom parts together but I recommend using two screws.

At 100% the hole is a M3 size but you can use a m4 or m5.  If the screws you have are a little long and stick out, you can use the screw cap model file to print some covers. You probably don't want sharp things sticking into the container, especially if you plan on putting laundry pods or your hand in it.

I used some plastic material from a food container (cleaned and glued) for the door window.  If you don't have any clear material laying around, I have included a round disk that you can print that can be glued to the inside to create a barrier at the door window.

I printed the knob file with a “color change at layer” to get two colors.  This model does not require a multi color printer.

I recommend using E600 glue or an epoxy glue for the parts that need glued on.

NO SUPPORTS NEEDED. BUT YOU MAY WANT TO USE A BRIM AND TURN FAN OFF FOR THE FIRST 20 LAYERS FOR TOP AND BOTTOM PARTS TO REDUCE WARPING.

This model is 100% mine.  I give permission for remixes with attribution and selling of item (with attribution, please).  I do not give permission to sell the model file.  And I would prefer if remix models also remain free.

This model was completely made on tinkercad.

Download only seems to have the main body? No knobs, front door, lid, etc...

There are 6 individual stl files. I just double checked and they are there. I think you are only downloading the first file which is the body. Download from the "stl" drop down. Also let me know if that works for you or its still not showing up. It looks like someone did upload a profile but it is only the body as far as I can tell.

I do not currently have a bambu printer (though I do plan to get the A1) and due to that I am unclear on how to make multiple plates or project files right now. Hope you like the design. I think honestly it could be upscaled a little bit to hold a full bag of pods. But I have a slow printer and the 100% body took me 9hrs so I haven't gotten around to trying larger. But i saw someone else printed it in 5hrs with a bambu.
