Description

This is the Ogre, a pump action Mega XL revolver designed to be fired from the hip. It has a five shot capacity, and features quick swappable cylinder and spring. With PCAR in each chamber, you can shoot straight with MXL- it's essentially a hard counter to shields. Hardware kits are available from Silverfox Industries, and full blasters will soon be available from Foamdemic.

This'll launch MXL in the mid-80s FPS, and can be swapped to fire triple .50 cal darts. It also has a single chamber for single darts, as well as an inline clip cylinder (which NEEDS good darts). The pump is on the top, and uses picatinny rail to attach grips- included are the pictured VFG, which is the right way to use it, and a side handle, which is not ergonomic, but some people wanted it so it's there. Remember, you're not shouldering this thing, you're firing it from the hip. Hardware is Slug standard, as well as a couple ball detents.

For the future: more cylinder options are planned. It'll fire anything that fits in a MXL dart's footprint.

Print settings: Trigger, sear, plunger, ram at 100%. Cylinder at 3 walls 10% will be plenty strong. Everything else, 4 walls 20 percent.

The BOM is as follows:

6x T4 bars 1x Caliburn PT, 1x full length k25, 1x 155mm long section of 16mm OD tube, 4x dash 123 o rings, 2x 016 o rings, 3x ball detents, 22x 4-40x3/8 slug screws, 22x 10-32x5/16 slug screws, 8x 10-32 hex nuts, 2" approx of elastic, and 1 16mm long 2mmish diameter pin

Beta build guide is here: https://imgur.com/a/IzJOkHo it needs to be updated, the face seal o ring does not need to be glued anymore.

Big thanks to Sillybutts, for his video on camtracks and his design help, and to SuperStressed and FrozenFade for beta testing!

Changelog: 3/9/24- learned I uploaded the wrong front end file, which is overly tight. Adding correct front end file. Keeping tight one in fileset, as it may be useful for tuning.
