Description

Note: Press “download STL” to see all files! Also use the customizer button!

Please rate the print profiles - It would help tremendously.

Have fun with two geared fidget rings! I uploaded many sizes (inner diameter in mm from 12mm for kids to 24mm for big fingers, please use the conversion table below in case you are used to your local ring sizes and use the closest value in millimeter). The STL filenames have the inner diameter in mm in the filename.

In case you need even more different sizes, please install OpenSCAD on your own computer and follow these instructions to customize your ring.

Using the rings

So measure two fingers diameter, print out the respective sizes, put the rings next to each other and practice to turn them both at the same time. The gears are in a fishbone pattern so they interlock/self-center. In case they dont perfectly align, you need to turn one of the gears over so the fishbone pattern aligns for the two rings.

Thanks go out to Jörg Janssen for the Getriebe-library.

If you could take a picture of an actual print, please “add a make” and attach the picture. - I am curious to see your uses in the wild! Please let me also know how you rate the design.

Unfortunately, the uber fidget ring was deleted due to a design claim, so its no longer available.

Print instructions

You can print it without any support, and it prints very fast.
Standard settings will be fine, like infill of 20%, layer height of .2mm, 2 perimeters.

After printing, turn the ring a few times to make it spin better.

Oh ok, thats so it spins better. i had a tighter fit and it was spinning less well. maybe it needs the air cushion
