Description

Silly Streets now has an Airport!

Suits Hotwheels / Matchbox / Sky Busters size aircraft aswell as 1:400 scale model planes.

Additional Taxiways and other Silly Streets available on my profile.

README

  • Requires this Connector from my profile to join pieces. (Or original Hotwheels Joiners work perfect also)
  • The runway looks awesome when printed upside down (line markings facing down) on a textured print surface. Please ensure you untick “On build plate only” in the support section of bambu studio to ensure the connections print correctly. The 3D terminal section can't be printed in this way, so I opted to just print the runway textured. But a 2d parking area is also provided if you wish to have it all textured. (a second profile will also be available)
  • Requires AMS or dual colour capabilities. To provide the ability to print on a textured plate, the line markings are not recessed and will not be visible in a single colour print.
  • Removing Supports Supports are needed for the connector areas of the model. When printed non textured / lines facing up, the supports are much easier to remove. When printed textured / lines facing down the supports take a bit of careful time and effort with a sharp knife to remove but in my opinion is worth it!

UPDATED

  • Files have now been updated to provide a few improvements. Terminal and Parking area is now modular, Additional Line Markings, Better integration with Silly Streets.

Thanks for the kind words. I do have a few other taxiway pieces I've been meaning to upload. More buildings is a great idea, I have a couple of ideas when I have some time.
