Street pieces to lay your City paths!

Original design for the 2024 Christmas Community Print Drive.

“Street” is designed to print two ways. For a two-color setup, use the “Street” and “Street Lines” models. With a single-color setup, print only the “Street” model using one filament swap. See printing details below. A square, blank piece is also included to print for intersections and/or corners as desired. See photo.

The “City Scene Box” was designed to hold 12 of the these street pieces. And the box can be the first building on the block! Also, see the “City Scene Box II” for holding the blank squares and a Stop Sign. See the the link to those posts for details.

Additional Information and Print Settings

Three combinations of models are included with the lines set at different depths. I used the 0.75 mm versions so it printed with three layers of the yellow. With a less transparent filament for the line color, you may be able to print with fewer layers, so depths of 0.50 and 0.20 are also included.

The model is 72 x 50 x 3 mm. I printed with 0.25 mm layer height, 2 perimeters, 3 top and bottom layers, and 15% infill. For single-model printing, start with the color of the lines (yellow, for example) until height 2.25 mm and then print the darker color (black) for the top layers. No supports. No raft.
