Description

RFID clips for Bambu original reusable spools, simply cut a RFID chip from an empty roll and glue it inside the clip (i've used double sided tape).

You can use only one tag per spool if you place it on the side of the sensor is in the AMS (Sensors are in pillars between 1 and 2 or 3 and 4).

The text is editable in Bambu studio, check the picture in the documentation area.

if you want to use non RFID spools you can add the tags from an old spool

Easy,, non Bambu filament that works well using Bambu settings for a particular color. Fool AMS is easy answer. I use Bambu settings on almost all my filament from iiidmax and sunlu

Sunlu makes sense cause that’s who makes Bambu’s filament. Either way it is convenient to have the AMS autopopulate so this is a nice little hack.

Like the idea. My idea is to also use the color I printed it. So this would be for an RFID tag with the color red

can't figure out how to edit text. i see the MATERIAL and TYPE< I right click, select EDIT TXT, but nothing happens when i type

You need to check under the bed plane. The text is not visible on the top.

Same for me can't get the edited text to save. I wanted it to say PLA and then the color. So I could just pop them in and out of spools without using the AMS to see what color it was. I might just print it in the color that it is.

Just tried it in the Beta version of Studio and it would let me edit the text. Just wanted to let you know.

Great idea, don't know why I've not seen this before! Think I'll be printing this in each of the Bambu filament colours and types I have and then reusing them over and over.
