The initial situation:
Are you like me? Is your filament on a board above the printer? Are you afraid that the filament roll will fall off? In the worst case, does the filament roll end up in the AMS?
The filament clip holds onto a 16 mm board effortlessly and without drilling or gluing. It prevents the filament roll from falling off the shelf.
How to print as follows:
For me, the filament clip works well with PLA but was actually designed for ABS or ASA. It consists of a clip and a print in place ball joint.
Only the joint socket and the ball need to be very lightly supported.
