Description

This ski rack is designed to hold 3 pairs of skis and one snowboard on top. I needed a way to hold my ski gear together and be able to shove it all the way back in my long bed truck with the cover on. This gives me more room for coolers and things in front of it. The skis fit by alternating the middle set of skis the opposite way from the inside and outside which maximizes the space utilization. There are 2 secondary cutouts where poles can be placed. I did struggle to get 3 sets of poles in this arrangement without weakening the design so for me it only fits 2 sets. You will need to provide the ¾" Sched 40 PVC and determine your own desired length for the pull handle as shown in the picture. As pictured the distance from upright to upright is 31". The distance from the front to the handle ~35", but you should test fit it for your skis and truckbed.

Assembly:

  1. Slide the groove of the right side back over tongue of one of the left side pieces and glue with acetone (if you printed ASA)
  2. Slide the groove of the right side front (one with pass through hole) over the tongue of the other left side piece
  3. Test fit your PVC pieces and place your gear in the rack to make sure it all fits
  4. Glue the PVC in place with PVC to ABS cement (light green color; works on ASA)
