Description

I designed both this and my straw holder to help clean up the Kitchen Cabinet a little bit. This is designed to hold several of the starbucks style lids (11 and 18mm) in two sizes, along with one 40mm slot that can accomodate a stanley lid.

This is a great practical design and I really wanted to love it! It printed great, was very sturdy, and would be very useful. However, my Starbucks lids would not fit into the middle slots. I do not have any of the Flat type lids (as pictured in the original post, with the inside threads) all my Starbucks cups have the outside threads (that thread into the cups) so they are thicker. I didn't realize they were different. They fit into the last slot (the one designed for Stanley lids). I also Printed the straw holder which I love!!!

I appreciate the feedback! this is definitely one of those designs that is likely very specific person to person. I have been trying to figure out how I could make this more universal, like the straw holder, but I'm struggling lol. I'm glad to hear you like the straw holder! it's definitely been more popular than I expected

Absolutely! It looks like the larger Starbucks lids (the ones with the outside threads, shown above) are about an inch thick (maybe slightly wider to allow spacing room.). I even tried one of my flatter lids and it barely slid in place (had to use a little force). I am not any good with design programs or I would help remix, but what about getting rid of the larger Stanley spot and making the others 26mm wide (keep the last 4 or 5 the smaller cold cup lid sizes). That would keep the length of the whole thing relatively the same as it is now. 10"longish Thank for your dedication.
