Description

I am new to 3D modeling and this is my first ever uploaded model. If you have feedback and tips please let me know!

This is a basic cable box I designed to protect the Ethernet cable together with the power cable and the reset button from dust or rain. It is not designed to be waterproof or completely dust prove and rather as a simple and quick way to protect the cables from cobwebs, direct rain, etc.

Diameters:
- 7mm (for the Ethernet cable)
- 9mm (for the tail cables (power cable, reset button and Ethernet cable))

I printed mine in PLA+ and strengthened the joint with cable ties.

My settings:

Material: PLA+
Nozzle: 0.4
Layer Height: 0.24mm
Supports: None

But I recommend trying out your own settings and using material know for outdoor use (e.g. ABS, ASA).
