Summary

UPDATE: added a version 2 that should let u hang the arrow with its motor an prop installed, still haven't gotten to try the new version out just yet but figured id go ahead an upload it here. its the same concept as the first one just with clearance for the motor an prop an i extended the arms that hold the wing. so it may be able to hold it at full weight with battery installed. the first one i wouldn't trust with the battery installed.

needed a way to store these rc planes ive started building from foam board an alot of the designs ive found on thingiverse work great but they all hang them on the walls an thats something i dont have is wall space so i designed this up real quick in tinkercad so i could mount it to the ceiling. ive just designed an printed it tonight so its only been hangin for a couple hours an this is just for the bodys without electronics, i'll have to redo it for the pro an motor to stick through an i dont know if it would balance there at full weight maybe without the battery but i always pull the motor, esc an receiver out and leave the servos so it isn't that hard to have it back up an flying. im still new to the rc stuff so if there are any experienced rc pilots out there that sees an issue with this that ive yet to learn please let me know or if u would like to use it but want work but could with small changes let me know an i'll see if i can help out. also i put a few layers of electrical tap on the middle section cause i have a belly plat on my mini arrow that i printed an it was slipping off the middle section, it was still holding it fine but the back of the electrical tape keeps it from sliding. the tape is not holding it in place its just acting like a rubber surface between the two plastics surfaces.

Notes:

this will not work with planes with props an other electronics, all ive have on my plane while storing it like this is the servos with push rods, ill make a few other versions so it will be able to hold it with all the electronics but i dont think it would be able to with the battery or at least not for mine cause mine is to nose heavy to balance that far back at flight weight, but i think it would be fine with everything except the battery, i'll make the other versions later on an update this with options.
