UPDATE: I've been printing the smallest one out trying to get the clearances correct so it may depend on if u printer is capable to doing .2mm gaps without them fusing, v5 is the most forgiving one an should give a .3mm gap. these was able to be worked straight off the bed, v4 would work but had to have one area freed up but dont seem to want to hold its self closed so i heated the corner an bent it in just a touch to get it to hold itself closed so i'll have to fix that so keep that in mind if u decide to print the smallest one. the largest one is the most forgiving an was the first one i made probably almost 2 yrs ago an i use the ones i first printed still til this day so its fine but id like to go back an do it with tighter tolerances so its it dont have as much slack but as of right now it works fine. the middle sized one im printing right now so im not sure what it is going to do just yet but im pretty sure its going to be fine as far as tolerances but i worry it will do the same as the smaller one an not actually latch to hold its self close, once this one finishes i'll know and i'll update the files as needed. if anyone wants the older versions let me know an i'll add them but ive just been keeping the newest versions of each so everyone that downloads will have the best chance of them printing an working straight off the bed without having to free them up but again thats going to depend on the printer.
i made these two cable organizers when i first started messing with tinkercad an just found them in my library an thought id throw them on here, ive only printed the bigger one an used it an just recently made the smaller one just havent gotten around to printing it yet but it should work the same as the big one. print in place just place it flat on either of its sides an it should be able to open an close without any clean up from what i can remember. any suggestion are welcome an ill probably make a few others in different sizes an i'll update here.
