An articulated Elephant with a total of 24 joints that prints in place without supports.
No assembly required except for the removal of the 3 supports included in the model (for tail and ears).
About 25cm in length depending on how you measure. Not necessarily anatomically correct, but robust and very fun to play with.
The complex shape of the first layer requires good bed adhesion, so clean your plate and consider adding a brim.
I have successfully scaled down and printed the model at 70% which probably is close to the limit as the tail becomes quite weak.
For the A1 mini print profile, the model has been scaled down to 85% to fit the build plate.
If you enjoy this model, please like and consider giving it a boost.
This Elephant in the second model in my Flexi-animal series. Please have a look at the first model, the Articulated Giraffe!
