All Printed at .2mm layer height.
*****Supports needed for printing the rollers and the main housing*****. These are personal preference so you select which you would prefer. Had to add this text as some folks expect you to hand feed them
Hardware needed:
- Quantity 1 - M3 x 16 screw.
- Quantity 4 type 608 skateboard bearings.
- Quantity 16 -18 - 3mm diameter x 2mm length magnets. (updated due to the original spec no longer available)
- (All items available from Amazon).
- I took the covers off the bearings, cleaned the grease out and added a little oil, just so the bearings rotated more freely.
Assembly:
- Insert 12 of the magnets into the 2 rollers and 2 each into the main housing and cover (for less spinning use 3) ***IMPORTANT*** ensure you have the polarity correct. I would recommend only inserting the magnets half way so if you do mess it up, you can get the magnets out again. ***Due to tolerance stack ups and material differences, you may have to use a spot of glue to hold the magnets or bearings as all materials may differ in results***
- Insert the shaft into the main body
- Install 1 of the spacer onto the shaft
- Install your first roller
- Install a second spacer
- Install the second roller
- Install the remaining spacer
- Fit the main body end piece onto the locating pins
- Screw in the M3 screw, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN
