Description

This is my interpretation of a spool adapter for the absolutely awesome A1 mini, involving the original holder.

I wanted to achieve ideal filament feeding for high speed printing as the original holder is kind of a stick-sip design.

If you are like me, printing mostly one specific color / material and want to keep the footprint small - this is for you!

 

So I went to work and probably overengineered this a little bit :) It is far from perfect but it works really well for me.
Please feel free to test and share your suggestions with me. Keep in mind that this was designed is for a specific spool size, so please verifiy your spool size before printing. I am working on a wider version as well.

 

For assembly instructions, simply take the included rendering for reference. It is pretty straight forward!

Please note that additional hardware is required, see below.

 

Tip! Pre-cut all holes on the upper & lower clamps with either a screw or a thread tap.
