Update June 6, 2024: New Version for Printers with Anti-Vibration Feet

I've updated the model to include a taller base, specifically designed for printers using Anti-Vibration Feet. This enhancement not only improves stability but also ensures ample clearance for necessary printer vibrations. A big thank you  to @zizzo81 for  highlighting this need, testing the model, and even providing excellent photos to showcase it 😊. Your contributions have been invaluable!

Introducing the EasyFit Build Plate Stand for BambuLab X1/Carbon & P Series, designed to simplify your build plate management.

After experimenting with several models and finding them too snug for easy handling, I designed the Build Plate Stand with wider slots. This ensures you can easily insert and remove your build plates without any struggle.

Compact by design, the Build Plate Stand reduces material use while enhancing your workspace's efficiency. Capable of holding up to three plates, the stand allows for a neat arrangement that nests the plates slightly elevated from one another, facilitating individual access without any hassle. Its base is precisely crafted to accommodate the central tab of the build plate, ensuring a stable and secure fit.

A custom-fit base slides effortlessly under your printer, securing the stand in place and giving you confidence that your build plates are well-managed.

Having used this stand personally for several weeks, I've found it significantly improves the convenience and organization of my 3D printing setup. Its effectiveness and simplicity inspired me to share it with fellow enthusiasts.

If you're looking to streamline your project workflow or organize your printing area better, the Build Plate Stand offers a practical solution. Prepare to enhance your 3D printing experience with improved ease and organization.

Works great! I have my p1s in a weird position on a countertop, so the holder doesn’t quite fit tightly under it, but I just used some double sided tape. Thank you!

Thank you for your feedback! The design intentionally allows some space for the printer to vibrate freely, which is crucial for its operation. Thanks again for sharing! 😊

So glad to hear it printed flawlessly right from your phone – welcome to the future of 3D printing! 😄📱 Just a tiny heads-up, though – it looks like your stand is taking a little nap on its side. It can actually stand tall and proud, just like in the photos I've shared. But hey, it's your stand and you use it in whatever way works best for you! 😄 Thanks for the awesome feedback, and for adding such a cool addition to your printing setup.

A huge thank you for your 5-star review and for sharing a photo of your stand in action! It's always a joy to see my designs being used. 😊 I noticed in your picture that the build plate is positioned sideways on the stand. You can actually rotate the bed by 90° to utilize the notch designed specifically for the central tab of the build plate. This not only secures the plate more firmly but also ensures all plates are perfectly aligned with each other, just like in the product photo. Thanks again for your support and the kind words. It means a lot! 🙏

Perfect for my use case as I have a limited space for plate storage and don't see myself needing more than 2 additional plates. Printed with zero issues, great work!

Nice design that fits 3 build plates perfectly. Staggered height is great to see the 3 plates and access them easily. Only comment would be to extend the part that goes under the printer to fit the grooves of the bottom of the printer so the holder does not move around at all.

The design intentionally allows for some movement under the printer to ensure it has enough space to vibrate and operate correctly. Securing it too tightly could risk affecting print quality or even causing damage to the printer itself. That said, I’ve been considering adding a 0.4mm TPU base to provide better grip while still allowing the necessary freedom for vibrations. I’m currently evaluating this solution and will update the design if it proves effective. I appreciate your suggestion and your support!
