Description

I enhanced my last Remix of the Y-Splitter with a bar with the option, to plug into Filament from the side.

You need in total now one more PTFE Connector.

4x PC4-M10 pneumatic connector, inner diameter: 4 mm
2x M3 6mm

I moved the Splitter a bit more to the edge to fit better for X1. I read some complaints in my Splitter Remix.

To connect just use a 18cm to 20cm long PTFE Tube and place him between the upper connector from the splitter and the end at the bar.

Its still/again based on Harald Geisler Splitter, which I liked most of all others.

If you need only a Y-Splitter which is more inner but no sideload, check my Y-Splitter.

As it is mounted with byt close to the main entrance for the filament to the extruder - then it locks. So I moved the mount and it is only on 1 screw at this distance is a guitar - I do not have a model to modify something - so I will drill and it will be a git.

Strength Issue:At the hight of the overhangs for the inlet I noticed the pillar couldn't deal with the extruder movements and so it started to flex from left to right. At some point the bottom gave in and the model got detached from the bed. I think more material on the pillar or making it T-shaped could greatly increase the stability and insure that the model doesn't flex as much when printing the final layers. I still like the model, but since it failed I can only give 2/5 stars.

Thats not looking good. Sometimes the brim is not strong enough. Actually I am working on a complete new part, just be patient and wait a bit. I hope I can release it soon. It will be also more stable.

One of very few side spool compatible filament guides (I find all the one piece spool/guide designs tend to sag). Printed nicely, does the job very well. No issues with routing or cable advance/retraction using this. Thank you for the design!

Really like the design! Did not work to print standing up for me, had to print laying down with support instead. Need a little bit more of an angle on the splitter in relation to the printer, my AMS did not manage to overcome the angle from the splitter into the printer. If I let the complete arm hang loose, it works. Will try to redesign with a little bit more angle on the outport to the printer.
