Description
TickerBox — Mini Live Stock Display
A tiny desk gadget that keeps your favorite stock in view all day. No browser tabs, no phone checks — just a quick glance to see how the market's treating you.
Built on a Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32-C6 with a 0.96" SSD1306 OLED, it connects to WiFi and pulls live market data, showing the current price, daily change, and percentage move — with the time in the corner so it doubles as a mini clock.
Features:
- Live stock price with daily change ($ and %) at a glance
- Configurable ticker — track any symbol you want (AAPL, TSLA, SPY, you name it)
- Auto-refreshes on an adjustable interval
- Time display synced via NTP
- Fully standalone after setup — no computer or phone required
- Powered over USB-C
What you'll need:
- Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32-C6
- 0.96" I2C OLED display (SSD1306, 128x64)
- 4 hookup wires (26–30 AWG)
- USB-C cable for power
- A free stock data API key (setup steps included)
Setup:
Flash the included Arduino sketch, add your WiFi credentials, API key, and ticker symbol, and you're live. Slide it into the printed enclosure and set it anywhere you want a market pulse — desk, shelf, or next to your monitor.
Perfect for casual investors, market watchers, or anyone who likes a bit of live data on their desk.
