🌟 INTRODUCTION ~ ~ ~

This Module is a part of the Rev 1.x series, indicating its enhanced features and improvements over numerous other versions that relate to this structure. The 4-to-1 functionality of this module makes it a valuable addition to ANY project, providing adaptability and efficiency.

  • 5 PC4-M10 / Male Threaded Pneumatic PTFE Fittings LINK (US)
  • User Choice of PTFE Tubing Lengths

ASSEMBLY ~ ~ ~

  1. Thread PC4-M10 Fittings with Ease
  2. Mount using stock screws provided with printer
  3. Push in [PTFE] Tube starting with [OUT] fitting (PTFE TUBING is available NOW in BOM!)
  4. Push [1-4] PTFE Tubes whichever fits your needs
  5. Enjoy seamless hassle free manual spool swaps! 
  6. PSA: We've been testing a new design that mounts our 4-to-1 directly inline with the [AMS BUFFER] - Until we release our proven model, Please be sure to have the adapter inline and close to the buffer to reduce any chances of failures. 

 📌 IMPORTANT ~ ~ ~

  • Do not over tighten fittings once they're snug stop
  • After printing make sure to test holes are clear of any debris [ use a strand of filament ]
  • Critical to make sure PTFE Tubes are pushed all the way in until you meet resistance then STOP
  • Test feeding before mounting
  • Print a Benchy or small test print before anything major!
  • If you printed Rev 1.2 and encounter feeding issues please use Latest Rev 1.4
  • When using RAW file ensure you disable “Slowdown for overhangs” for best de-bossed text

So if you have one AMS unit, can you technically have up to seven colors? how would one go about doing this without another AMS unit?

Hey @modernuser Thanks for the question! To clarify that, this model [4-to-1 PTFE Module] is similar to how Bambu Labs 4-in-1 adapter works. It's only meant to split the external feeding from the standard [1] spool into [4] spools but still only be able to directly print from a [single] spool. This allows users who print abrasive materials often to have say external filament dryers/boxes storing [PAHT-CF, PA12, ABS, etc] to keep them semi fed so there's less of a hassle when it comes to loading/unloading. In @MAFIA_SKULL 's photo , he has [1] PTFE tube routed to the [AMS Buffer] allowing the AMS to operate like normal meanwhile he also has [3] open ports for an additional [3 external spools. Our main design was based on being paired with the [P1P] so we have yet to design & release a mounting option that best suites our module for the [X1C] . Were close to the finish line but definitely do not want to rush this project just for likes or points. Were actively and continuing to test mounting options/ our own designs to ensure the best results/chances when it comes to using our [4-to1] as an [AMS Hub] which would allow use of [2+ AMS Units]. It's been hundreds of hours of testing but data has been inconsistent due to various filament types and other variables such as correct angles/lengths of PTFE tubing.

great model that prints without support as advertised! the ptfe connectors thread in real nicely but then require a socket to screw them all the way in. btw, printing this in transparent pla is a bad idea as seen in my pics lol

Thank you for your time and rating! This look pretty amazing transparent haha Might need to slow down outer wall speed a little to get some ringing out of the walls but honestly overall looks great! Makes us want to try one as well! Printed perfectly with PETG. Can’t wait to get it installed and try it out. Will be using it to bring in a line of TPU from Dryer.

@boothluis This is a BAMBUTIFUL print! Nice work! Let me know how this goes, I'd ran only a couple print jobs in TPU so I'm curious to hear others insights and if there's any changes needed for it to improve. Thank you @BCO85 😁 I appreciate your photo and like! I did want to mention if you wanted to clean up those lines (marked in red* photo attached) That occurs when “Slowdown for Overhangs” is enabled within your slicer settings. Turn it (Off) and it’ll go away. This happens when the flow is reduced too much causing a shift in layers. Thought I’d let you know, again Thank you!

Sollten Sie Probleme haben, weil diese Version eine engere Toleranz hat, lesen Sie bitte die aktuelle Rev 1.4! Wir haben die Bohrungstoleranz geringfügig geöffnet und das Profil komplett unterstützungsfrei gemacht. Da dieses Profil (Rev 1.2*) für die meisten Leute funktioniert, haben wir beschlossen, es nicht zu entfernen. Übersetzt mit DeepL.com (kostenlose Version) "Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! @Titidag I noticed you downloaded Rev 1.2* if you have any issues or problems due to this version having a tighter tolerance please refer to the latest Rev 1.4! We opened the bore tolerance slightly and made it completely support free. Due to this profile (Rev 1.2*) working for most people we decided not to remove it."

Thank you 😊🙏🏼 we’re currently proving out rev 1.3 more before we release it. It’ll eliminate potential sagging in the 4 ports and address potential issues with various PTFE tubes users have. Thank you again!
