Regarding the CLIP:

• It is used to attach two different cords together.
• It is designed primarily when a flat cord is meant to be attached to the lower part of the clip
  • (normal for tents, outdoor hammocks, etc..)
• All cords that can fit into a diameter of 6.5 mm can be attached with normal scaling.
• Scale up the model to fit thicker cords.
• A two (2) mm nail can be used to seal the inner cord from getting loose.
• The design is very sturdy and optimized with regard to both strength and beauty. :)
