Description

Added a very gentle 75 degree internal chamfer (see images) to help with filament getting stuck when loading, which happened to me every time with the original. There is still about 0.5mm of flat for the ptfe tube to square up against, and I believe this chamfer opening up the channel should allow for larger ID tubes to be used other than the 2.5mm ID Bambu stock the original designer stressed using. Although I am using 2.5mm and its probably the best option if you have it. Also increased the retaining clip base thickness by 2mm so instead of an m3x6 screw to mount, use an m3x8. Same print setting recommendations as the original. Fusion 360 source and .STEP files included.

Worked well in transparent PETG. Assembly tip: make sure the output tube going to to the printer isn't too long otherwise there can be unwinding issues.

What orientation did you print this in, and did you use supports? I've had nothing but problems with splitters and will try yours.

Print it standing tall as pictured, no supports needed. 0.2mm layer height helps get better definition on the threads. Also, make sure your Bowden tubes are the right ID, that they are cut flush and smooth (use a brand new razor blade and go very slow) and make sure the tubes are inserted all the way, they go in deeper than you think. Good luck!
