Description

Shamrock

This is one solid piece and requires an AMS.

piece is 9 x 8 1/2 and will take up most of the bed

this is one of my more challenging prints as its quite intricate.

I strongly recommend doing this on a PEY plate, to allow a smooth finish and gives it that extra sparkle.

I added a layer of the bambu glue to ensure adhesion.

I have added a loop to easily hang in window.

Concentric print pattern for effect

For these colors I did

Jayo transparent yellow PLA

IEMAI Transparent Green PETG

Frame is generic Black PLA

I will also add an all PLA option.

A delightful, translucent model. I printed the all-PLA version, using Bambu basic green, yellow, and black on an iridescent PEY plate, and it came out a delight. Printed with .2 layer height and the .3 line width, even though I'm using a .6 nozzle. Arachne made it a non-issue. Thank you for sharing it with us! To folks who are having adhesion issues- the designer purposefully chose a narrower initial line width for artistic effect (and I personally think it looks great) but if it isn't working for you, even with glue, just revert to default line width and initial layer height. You'll get most of the intended effect, but it will be much easier for your filament to adhere.

This model adhers poorly - different plates and filaments. Glue is the magic sauce and I never ever need to use glue. This was the best I could get.

I'm sorry to hear. This is a very intricate design, i highly recommend bambus liquid glue to help with adhesion. I would even recommend dropping speed to 50% for the first layer.
