Description

Hello!

The 3mf of this benchy can be imported to either Bambu Studio or Orca Slicer (I am using Orca Slicer), and can be used as potentially optimal profiles for TPU printing, specifically Overture (as it is a low entry price for TPU). As a breakdown:

  • Filament Profile: Overture TPU - Black: This config is for the filament. The print shown above is done with recently opened TPU from Overture (like the morning before posting this), so if you get different results with blobs/underextruding, dry your filament.
  • Print Profile: 0.20mm Standard - TPU: This config is for all the process settings. Basically, the main thing is that the printer will be printing slow. It needs to to be able to print TPU reliably.

This print was made with only the part cooling fan. If printing with a P1S, just make sure to open either your top cover or the front door to allow for ventilation. I also am running stock everything else, so whatever machine you got out of the box, this profile should be close enough to work.

Hope this works!

Would you mind sharing the settings you use to print TPU this fast? I'd like to test it myself as it would be amazing to print TPU so quickly without clogs.

It shouldn't be clogging under normal conditions. Be sure that your filament is dry, TPU loves to suck up water.

eibos dry box for 12 hours, both overture tpu and duramic tpu, default tpu setting with volumetric flow turned down, clogged every time I’ve attempted. only tried about 6 times before I gave up and bought a bedslinger just for tpu. More info just in case you see the fault I’m making. dried and printed from drying box fed from external spool, not ams pei textured plate temp ranged from 215-230 on the attempts using orcaslicer the easy thing to do would be to post a 3mf of your settings on a sliced cube and let me try it. Would love to get it working to be honest, but got tired of disassembling my extruder.

Squishy boat! Very little stringing(I’ve had worse on an Ender running PLA😂) Will continue to use this profile for other TPU projects I find. Thank you! P.S. I’ve found overture TPU runs best at 230 on my A1.
